The Global Research Centre for Changing Climates at the University of St Andrews is at the forefront of international efforts to understand and address climate change. Established to bring together leading experts across multiple disciplines, our centre combines cutting-edge science with real-world solutions.
Our research has directly informed international climate policy, supported vulnerable communities in adapting to climate change, and contributed to major scientific assessments including IPCC reports. We work with partners across six continents, from Arctic research stations to tropical ecosystems.
Through innovative projects, knowledge exchange programs, and public engagement, we strive to make climate science accessible and actionable for all stakeholders.
